Capitalism is a nightmare; another world is possible
Saturday 5:30 PM
It doesn’t take much to feel despair when looking at the world today. In the US, Trump’s ICE goons terrorise the streets, rounding up migrants and killing those who would dare to resist. In Gaza, the genocide continues with the support of governments from around the world.
Despite all this we see people fighting back, time and again and the world over. ICE has been pushed back by organised workers and mass mobilisations in Minneapolis. The Palestine movement has refused to back down in the face of increasingly repressive and authoritarian governments. This session will cover how capitalism is responsible for this nightmare and how we can transform these fleeting moments of hope and resistance into a fight for a better world.
