Capitalism breeds oppression. In fact, it can’t exist without it. Racism, sexism, and transphobia are essential to a system that oppresses billions of workers around the world. But haven’t these forms of oppression always existed? And are they any different under capitalism today than they were in other historical periods?  

This session will examine the many different approaches to oppression today and argue that a strategy based on solidarity and class struggle is key to winning liberation today.
