The horrors of capitalism can appear insurmountable as they confront us on a daily basis. For individuals the suffocation of oppression and the endless grind of exploitation at work are inescapable. But as capitalism creates these horrors it also creates the forces capable of overcoming it. Time and again we see workers organise to challenge capitalism at every level, from struggles for pay and conditions all the way through to fighting dictators and overthrowing the system.

This session will discuss why it is that socialists see the organised working class as the solution to the horrors of capitalism.
