Liam Ward

Liam Ward is a socialist film-maker, historian and activist. He is a lecturer in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University, Melbourne. He is the director of Do Nothing and Do It Well, a documentary about Chinese cabinet workers who formed their own unions, shook the streets of Melbourne with incredible strikes and won the highest wages in the industry.


Liam is a unionist with the NTEU, and was involved in leading the NTEU Fightback, a rank and file campaign that prevented at 10-15% wage cut across the university sector.
