Capitalism is growing more brutal by the day. Fascism is rising, militarisation is escalating, and wealth inequality has reached extreme levels. There has never been a more urgent time to get organised and fight for a world free from war and inequality. That's what Socialism Day School is about.
Socialism Day School is a day of discussion and debate for those seeking an alternative to capitalism. Session cover socialist theory, radical history and understanding capitalism today, with introductions followed by open discussion. It is aimed at people new to socialist ideas.
Venue
Socialism Day School is taking place at DADAA Fremantle, at the Old Fremantle Boys' School, 92 Adelaide Street, Fremantle.
The venue is a ten minute walk from Fremantle train station, and in close proximity to several bus routes.
There is limited ticketed street parking on Cantonment Street and Point Street. The closest car park is the City of Fremantle carpark 6A on Adelaide Street (Entry off Point Street). ACROD parking is available on Cantonment Street and Adelaide Street.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and accessible for people who are blind or have low vision.
