Ariana del Zotto

Ariana del Zotto is a leading student activist at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature, University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Her role in political activism began during the feminist wave sparked by the Ni Una Menos movement in 2015, which intensified in 2018 as part of the struggle for legal abortion rights with Juntas y a la Izquierda in the Socialist Workers' Movement (MST).

She also played a leading role in the 2024 university uprising and occupations in defence of public education and in the fight against university budget cuts of the far-right government of Javier Milei and its privatization and austerity agenda. Today, she is part of the auxiliary committee of the International Socialist League (ISL), for its Argentine section.

Ariana will be speaking on "Fighting authoritarians across the globe from Argentina to the US" at our opening night on August 8.
